I just would like to share with you guys 10 of my favorite characters. They're some that have given me inspiration and motivation through the years, and I would like to share them with you as well. One would see a certain kind of similarity with each other, and I'm pretty sure you guys won't be surprised. :3 Kotetsu T. Kaburagi. What I like about Kotetsu is that he tries so hard. It's amazing that he's like everybody's dad, in a way. He's usually not the brightest, but when push comes to shove, he gets the job done in a stellar fashion. He always has this positive attitude towards everything and doesn't lose hope amidst overwhelming odds. A lot of people should learn a thing or two from this guy. Naked Snake aka Big Boss This here's snake from the game series, Metal Gear. He's arguably the best soldier in his time (either him or Boss) and always has a cool head. Nothing less to expect from a great soldier, he's quick to his feet and always able to make the soundest of decisions, I can only hope to be half of who he is. Ryu Hayabusa He's the hero from the Ninja Gaiden series and a cool fighter in the Dead or Alive franchise. This dragon ninja can probably think of 1,000 ways to dispose of a hostile and has the ability to do them all. He saves the world a number of times and doesn't even seek recognition nor appreciation. How admirable, this lonely man. To those who haven't played his games, you better start doing so. It's a great stress-reliever. XD Dominic Santiago He hails from the Gears of War trilogy, best friend to Marcus Fenix and serves the cog. This guy's a real bad boy, just don't mention his wife or else you end up with an emotional mess. If you don't think blowing up stuff and chainsawing baddies aren't awesome, I dunno what is. Wolverine SNIKT! SNIKT!! *puffs cigar* SNIKT! SNIKT! He's the best at what he does... and what he does ain't pretty. Kenji Harima He's from the series School Rumble. A delinquent-turned-mangaka, Kenji's one of the realest characters I've ever come across in an exaggerated way. He's my most favorite character of all time, but I know you guys already know that XDDD Jecht He's Tidus's super awesome surfer dad and a former star player for the Zanarkand Abes. He's got a body etched from stone and a kick that can make your head spin out of its place. He's hard on his son because he wants the best out of him(that and he's not good at showing his soft side) Cecil Harvey Cecil from Final Fantasy 6's got the best of both worlds. He's good and evil, so he's got a rocking armor, and amazing powers. Yeah, he's got family issues, but to be honest, who doesn't? He's able to overcome his trials now he's got beautiful, flowing silver hair. WOW!!! Michishio Nagasumi The protagonist in Seto no Hanayome(one of the bestest anime series evaar!!!) and husband to San-chan, he's an overwhelmingly interesting character. He's senseless and at the same time profound. He's strong and weak, and even smart and dumb. I don't make sense? I know, he's THAT awesome Kenshiro I don't want to explain because.... You're already dead. DUN DUN DUN!!!! Hi guys~ Happy Hario here, and I'm going to share the experience and photos of mine during day 3 of Ozinefest. I went to the event with Nimzzz around 11. There weren't a lot of people yet probably because it's quite early and events are usually flocked at 2 or 3. We roamed the event area and took pictures of the toys displayed.(I don't have a lot of photos of the toys, though. sorry~) after that, we went to CBTL and met Sese and Ian, who were having coffee. I didn't stay there too long because I had to help get the stuff team MARCH was going to compete with. After that, I took time watching some of the performances at the karaoke competition. Below, we have Gibs Sagun singing the Jetman Intro, Denggoy Isidoro(who was a 3-day champion, by the way. Congratulations, TNL-D!) and Asian Chickenfest! Below, you can see the costumes we were going to be using for the cosplay competition. Those are Exteel, Bahamut(FFX) and Valsione(cannot be seen). Yep big-ass costumes are big! So many parts, so many props, so many gimmicks. Yeah, that's how we roll, kids. Hohohohohoho~ I took a break and roamed around the venue once more. I checked out the stalls and saw the Gundam-building contest area, a horror house, a League of Legends competition area, a matsuri area, and a lot of shops! I came across TONS of friends~ Cos.ph peeps, Tux team, Sigil, and the annoying peeps~ Chatted, enjoyed, had fun(albeit short-lived) and went back after grabbing a bottle of water. pictures below~ The catwalk started around 5:30(I think). I played the role of a stuntman for - Yuu's Valsione (intense fight scene!) and for - Sochi's Bahamut (comedy just to mix it up) (I forgot to stretch so my body's aching all over XO) There were around 200+ contestants and I suppose I don't have to tell you that it took a really long time before it ended. We waited a long time for the results and I guess you could say it was worth it. Sochi(3rd) and Krizdel(2nd) won! Congratulations to them! We're so proud of you! Got home around 11:30 and went to Nimzzz' HQ to watch and get some new episodes~
That's it, folks! Thanks for your time~ and I'm out! Stay happy~~~ Hello, everybody! It's me, once again~ Happy Hario at your service. :3 Today's topic is about Cosplay Cards or Curecards, as more commonly known. It's starting to be quite the craze here in the local community as of late. A good number have been making theirs and been trading those with their friends and fellow cosplayers usually during conventions. Honestly speaking, I've made a couple already months ago, and have received quite a number as well :3 Before I continue, some might already be thinking, "What the heck are these?" or "This is just stupid."
Well, if you're thinking about the former, then I say these are examples of Curecards/Coscards. I don't want to dwell too much on it's origin because it may just bore you. So, I'll move on. (You can always google the origin, anyway. Hohohohohoho~) For the latter, I can totally understand why and respect your opinion. It may seem like a waste of time, since it doesn't really have much of a benefit for anybody. But, do give the due respect to those who spend part of their time to do it. It's a free world, after all. :3 If you were to ask me if I deem it to be necessary, then my answer is no. One shouldn't feel obliged to make his or her own set of these cards. For starters, cosplaying is a hobby. You don't have to follow everything because all that should matter is you having fun. BUT, I've made curecards because IT. IS. FUN. You get to trade with other people and gain new friends. It's pretty much like a business card of sorts, and a trading card merged into one. You collect what you get and let it serve as a great way to walk down memory lane. Curecards/coscards don't really have a specific format. (Well, you put any kind of information about you want.) You also have the freedom to design the layout of your card. So, let your mind go free and just let your imagination run wild! (Mine aren't really that visually appealing. But as the saying goes, "to each his own") Point is, you're the boss. Do it or not, no one will judge you. :3 JUST ENJOY!!!! That's about it for this blog, thank you and stay happy! :) (Writing this blog reminded me that I've to make new ones! XDDDDD) Hello everybody! I'd like to share with you my experience at the Cosplay Show! I was fortunate enough to be invited as a guest for the second episode. I took some pictures while we were shooting that night, so allow me to share them with everybody! :3 I got there around 7:30 (Well, Sir Pabs picked me up at the gas station XDD) and all people concerned were already there, preparing for what was to come. Scripts ready, and food on the table~ It was bliss, I tell you! Harharharharhar!! We had a quick run-through with how the show was going to ensue. The sequence, the timing, the inserts, everything was carefully planned so that there wouldn't be any trouble on the live broadcast. During the rehearsals, everybody had their game faces on, but that doesn't mean we didn't have fun! We were laughing almost all throughout the night. We talked about a lot of things such as: - The performance aspect of cosplaying - Cosplay possibly becoming a kind of sport - Physical fitness in line with cosplaying - Team Lion Rush's performance for TorCh At the last part of the interview, the viewers' Q&A caught me off guard. They even made me sing! XDDD Many thanks to Sir Pabs, Sir Guy, Sir Jason, Sir Henry, Ms. Zenith and Ma'am Tanya for the hospitality and the opportunity to be a part of the cosplay show! I honestly did not expect to be featured in an episode. So, I now grovel on the floor with my sincerest gratitude!
Do watch out for the next episode which will be aired live Wednesday next week at 9pm. I don't know who the next guest will be, but I'm pretty sure you guys will enjoy! hohohoho~~~ Stay Happy, folks! :) I've done the males section before, and I'm now moving on to le femmes!! I actually had a hard time choosing which ones to put, but I've narrowed it down to these 10 remarkably exquisite cosplays I'll start things off with none other than... My kid, Dycee as the ever-cheerful(and annoying) Bltz ball star player(though I'm much more awesome) Tidus! Gotta love 'em kicks, son! Katz's Mononoke-hime made her look like she was from a live-action adaptation. Talk about bring characters to life! *A* moving on to... Yuu's Misa Amane. (Le expression, so stern! *A*) I want to have a monster hunter armor too OTL (Insector!!) next up is... Kyn's Zidane cosplay is, for me, one of the very best ones I've seen ever. I won't deny it, I've been a fan of hers for a long time. Too bad she's hard to see in events due to busy schedule, so you guys better keep an eye out when she does! :3 moving on, we have... A-shi/Leng's Kamikirimusi cosplay is the stuff of legends! The warriors of Soul Calibur don't get much love here, but lo and behold, we see something awesome! May the tales of souls and swords be carried on. up next, here's... Grace's Witchblade is fierce! So fierce that it could probably burn the catwalk from her awesomeness! The details give me a headache but in a good way :3 let's have a go at... Jin's awesome portrayal of Alto is just... just.... just.... *A* salkfjd;jlakjd;lsjfa; sorry, while I pick up what's left of my brain cells. moving on... Ces's Priscilla gave me the shivers. Her portrayal was exquisite, and I was fortunate enough to be able to watch this in action last TORCH preliminaries. I tip my hat to thee~ lastly... Kotetsu's Aruki cosp- I mean Aruki's Kotets- wait... I'm confused.... TAT IT'S JASLKFJ;AKLJDSFLJASLDKJF;LASKJD;LFASJDF;LKJA

Honestly speaking, there are a lot of very amazing cosplays that I've seen through the years, but these are the ones currently stuck in my head. (Disclaimer: These are just my opinions and are not ranked.) I'll start with... Uno(newartriot)'s Hisagi is awesome. My mouth was agape the first time I saw it. *A* next one is... Gibs Sagun's Ratorata is mind-blowing. I'm not exactly a big fan of the rider series, but this may very well be a good reason to try watching. up next... Lyron Aquino's Barnaby Jr. = death from awesomeness now, we have... Don Robert.... Iron Man Mk. 5.... *mouth-frothing commences* 1 week to accomplish and already this stunning?!?!? *dies* moving on to... Team M.A.R.C.H.'s Joseph Jobson. is scary awesome. How feral can one get? Kudos to Abraham Cruz and Miggy Panlilio and then we have... I believe I've already mentioned this yesterday :3 Andrew Venturina as Gai Tsutsugami next one would be... Guy Singzon's Mandarin Spawn only shouts one thing... details *A* how about... Bram Cruz's Exteel is a winner. a "Cosplay Costume of the Year" winner, in fact. OH YEAHH!! next, we have... Abu's Musketeer is really suave... I mean REALLY suave~~ *thumbs up* and the last but certainly not the least... Ryan De Vera's Leonidas is worth knowing your profession. AWOOOOO!!! SPOILER ALERT!! READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!! Katsuhiro Harada's new Tekken movie is pretty good, But as I've already mentioned above, it's certainly not a potential award-winning film. The story was pretty much here and there, so if you're not too familiar with Tekken's ongoing story, it'd be a bit o.O or O.o for one's viewing experience. Just to give you an idea of the whole story, it mainly concerns Xiaoyu being an accidental spy. She was "forced" by G corporation (Kazuya's group) to fly to Kyoto, go undercover and look into a certain boy named Shin Kamiya. There she meets and befriends Alisa and the rest starts from here. The movie was dragging for the first 60 minutes. There's a lot of gabbing, fanservice, and comedic attempts that ensued before it actually got me into it(albeit, not very). Honestly speaking, I did not like the Shin Kamiya character, he was lame Mishima wannabe at the beginning, and turned much more insignificant in the later part. In my opinion, the story could've been so much better had it not been for this guy. He was like Steven Seagal in "Executive Decision" (if you've watched the film, you'd know what I mean :P) I don't know why they used Ling Xiaoyu (aside from the fact that she's a "friend" of Jin Kazama) as the protagonist in here, but... I don't really know what to think. She was... how do I say this.... errr.. uhm.... *scratches head* a slightly more interactive audience, I guess. Ok, let me put it this way, you can basically put any character in her shoes and end up with the same story. But thinking about it, maybe she really WAS the best candidate *cough fan-service cough cough* Alisa being there was nice. I could totally see why she was there. No, I'm not being biased. I'm not a fan of hers (I'm a Lily Rochefort/Nina Williams fan) so I'm seeing this with an open mind. (Oh! Oh! Her fight scene with Xiaoyu was awesome!!) Enough with the negativity. It still is a good movie, after all :D I'm moving on to the finer things Blood Vengeance had to offer. Fight scenes = insane Mishimas = insane Devil forms = insane The fight scenes, as one would expect, never disappointed. They were able to make jawdropping choreography with some of the characters' trademark techniques. Watching the 3 Mishimas duke it out for supremacy was the part that made me cry rivers of blood. The redesigns of the Devil forms of Kazuya and Jin were great. I especially liked Kazuya's because it reminded me of the live-action Devil Man :D The OST was good. The scores fit the scenes very well, which helped(as for any movie) build the mood. There weren't a lot of featured characters, but I suppose it was just right. If they tried putting any more, then the story would've been in total disarray(since it's not a tournament-set movie). Here's my rating for this movie Story - 7/10 BGM - 9/10 graphics - 10/10 voice acting - 8/10 rewatchability - 8/10 over-all score - 8.4/10 And that ends my review for this movie~ DUWAAAHH!!!!
