It's understandable that people think this way probably because of these things
- clothing
- posing
- cameras
- lights
- catwalks
- wigs
- make-up
But there's actually more to it than meets the eye.
A cosplayer takes on the role of the particular character they don. Meaning, they change their persona or gestures to fit that of the characters' they're portraying. You get the opportunity to choose whichever character you like, study it, make or have it made, and go to a convention/shoot/wherever.
I've only put down some of the differences just so I can prove my point. And the point I'm trying to say is that being a cosplayer does NOT automatically make you a model and vice-versa. You can be both, but you actually have to DO both to become so. Though they may have similarities, it does not mean that they're the same.
So, ladies and gentlemen, that ends my blog for today. Thank you~ :D
